Tell us a bit about yourself - and how your journey with padel started
I’m 28 years old and based in Copenhagen. I’ve played tennis since I was a child, and racquet sports have always been a big part of my life.
Just before COVID, I was introduced to padel and was immediately drawn to the extra dimension of the glass walls and the strong social aspect of the sport.
When the pandemic hit Denmark and all indoor tennis courts shut down, I took every opportunity to play outdoor padel - whether that meant clearing snow off the court or playing in pouring rain.
From that point on, there was no turning back.
I put tennis aside and saw a unique opportunity to become part of a fast-growing sport. It’s a decision I’ve never regretted.
What are you most proud of in your padel career so far?
I’m incredibly proud to have represented the Danish national padel team since 2021.
Being selected so early in my padel journey - and maintaining my place on the team ever since - means a lot to me.
In terms of results, I’m proud of my DPF1000 victories over the years, reaching the number one ranking last year (which I’m working towards again), and becoming the first Dane to win an SPT tournament.
For many years, we’ve looked to Sweden as a leading nation in padel, so being part of reaching a new milestone for Danish padel is something I truly value.
Beyond results, I’m proud to have built a career around the sport.
Being able to work with what you love every day is a privilege, and I’m genuinely grateful for that. I’m also proud to contribute to the development of the sport and help shape its direction, having witnessed its rapid growth up close.
What is your biggest strength – on and off the court?
My biggest strength is my positive mindset combined with a strong competitive drive.
It’s something that has taken me far - both on and off the court!
What does the collaboration with Cuera mean to you?
I’m very proud to be part of Team Cuera.
For me, it’s important to represent a brand that stands for high quality and comfort - something I can genuinely stand behind.
The clean, refined design also helps me feel confident on court and stay focused on my game.
The fact that Cuera is a Danish brand is a big plus. It means a lot to work closely with partners who share the same values and mindset.
Do you have a favourite piece from Cuera - and why?
That’s a difficult question - there are so many great styles.
I really like the Oncourt Slim Tank Top. I love the slim fit, and the cut works perfectly for me.
I also wear the Active Zip Cardigan almost every day - I have it in multiple colours. I use it on the way to and from the court, when coaching, and in everyday life.
And I often wear my Offcourt Cuera T-shirt as well. It’s incredibly comfortable - perfect after training, for relaxed everyday outfits, or just at home. I really like the oversized look.
